Galactic Groove Records proudly present our 11th release and debut EP 'PSYCLIC' of father & son Live act Genepool.

PSYCLIC, meaning all living things have a cycle SO ALL THINGS COME FROM THE GENEPOOL AND ALL WILL RETURN.

Genepool are a Father and son Live psychedelic trance act from Ireland & have been playing music together for over 25 years.
Shane has been playing drums in a selection of bands from the late seventies all the way up to present.
Jherek following in his dad's footsteps has played drums with various bands through the last 25 years.
Their influences come from psychedelic rock bands such as Hawkwind, Gong, Steve Hillage & Pink Floyd.
Jherek discovered Psychedelic trance in the mid nineties and introduced his dad to the music.
Shane instantly fell in love with it and understood where it was going and where its roots came from.
In 2005 they started producing their own unique style of Percussive night time psytrance using their knowledge of drumming and percussion.
Having worked with several other labels over the years releasing tracks on VA compilations they joined Galactic Groove Records in december 2016 as a label Live act and featured a track on the VA Galactic Groovers compilation.
